Interac eTransfer Issue
We are aware of an intermittent issue affecting outgoing eTransfers. Some transactions are timing out, resulting in error messages. In some cases, accounts may be debited multiple times for the same eTransfer.
If you receive an error message, please check your transaction history:
- To review your account transactions: Go to Accounts > View Transactions.
- To review your eTransfer history: Go to Transfers & Payments > Interac eTransfer History, and check both Pending Transactions and History.
If you notice duplicate withdrawals:
- Pending Transactions: You may be able to cancel one or more of the duplicate eTransfers.
- Completed Transactions: Please call us at (800) 970-8427 for assistance.
If you have received an error message and see duplicate transactions, do not send another eTransfer. Instead, contact us at (800) 970-8427.
