Business Credit Advisor - Williams Lake and District Credit Union

Balance lifestyle with career - an opportunity is available for an experienced business banking professional to join our business credit team, based in Williams Lake or 100 Mile House.

Your Role

Reporting to the Business Credit Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of co-managing and growing a business loan portfolio consisting of approximately 165 connections, totalling $47 million. The successful candidate will be an astute risk manager and business development professional with a demonstrated ability to build rewarding long-term relationships, along with a deep understanding of financial products and services.

What You Bring to the Team

As the successful candidate you will have demonstrated expertise in risk management, business development, credit writing, and all other facets of business credit.

You preferably bring 2 years of progressive related experience, a minimum of a secondary school diploma, with additional coursework related to credit and lending, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $75,561 - $94,451

Williams Lake and District Credit Union’s Centralized Services is looking for a highly motivated team player to fill an on-call Facilities Support position.


The position requires the ability to assist the Facility Services Coordinator with more rigorous maintenance projects.  Maintenance projects may require some evening and weekend work.


General duties will include projects involving moving heavy objects, shovelling sidewalks and general snow removal in winter.  The position may be called upon to act as back-up during absences of the Facility Services Coordinator.


Experience in these types of duties will be an asset.

We're always accepting resumes for our Member Service Rep position. 

This position is critical to the success of the Credit Union because our Member Service Reps interact with our members most often and are the first people our members see when they step into a branch.

The position requires great communication skills, a strong team-oriented attitude and the ability to work under pressure. Successful candidates also possess good judgement and decision-making skills. Previous Credit Union, banking or cash handling experience is an asset, but we're always willing to train the right person.
