Williams Lake and District Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven professional.
Reporting to the VP of Operations and as a member of the management team, you will carry the Vision, Mission, Service Mission, and Service Promises forward by providing coaching, advice, and internal service consistent with the Service Standards. This role acts as a passionate, focused leader, mentor, and coach. Additionally, this position serves as a positive agent for change, actively supporting initiatives and identifying ways to improve service delivery while empowering staff to enhance member relationships.

Service Delivery
- Ensures member feedback is actively used to enhance service culture and deepen relationships.
- Oversees survey administration and ensures insights are leveraged to improve service delivery.
- Champions service training, mentoring new hires in WLDCU’s relationship-driven approach.
- Ensures employees feel empowered to take initiative in improving member experiences.
Human Resources
- Coaches branch managers to lead through engagement rather than directive oversight.
- Develops a culture where service excellence is recognized and rewarded.
- Encourages employees to contribute ideas for enhancing service delivery.
Administration
- Develops operational policies and procedures that align with WLDCU’s service culture.
- Ensures internal compliance without compromising service flexibility.
- Collaborates with leadership to identify strategic improvements in service delivery.
Financial Growth and Development
- Leads marketing initiatives with a focus on member education and trust-building.
- Ensures promotional activities align with cooperative values rather than transactional sales.
- Develops financial literacy content to support members’ long-term well-being.
Information and Knowledge
- Ensures employees are continuously informed about product updates and industry best practices.
- Promotes a learning culture where employees actively seek knowledge to enhance service delivery.
Strategic Planning
- Contributes to the development and execution of strategic service initiatives.
- Aligns branch plans with the overall mission to build deeper, more rewarding member relationships.
- Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve service culture effectiveness.
Qualifications & Compensation
Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A process improvement designation in a recognized methodology (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen) is preferred, but can be obtained during employment.
Experience: You bring at least 5 years of related experience, with at least two years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary range: $117,434 to $146,793, including benefits, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Williams Lake and District Credit Union’s Centralized Services is looking for a highly motivated team player to fill an on-call Facilities Support position.
The position requires the ability to assist the Facility Services Coordinator with more rigorous maintenance projects. Maintenance projects may require some evening and weekend work.
General duties will include projects involving moving heavy objects, shovelling sidewalks and general snow removal in winter. The position may be called upon to act as back-up during absences of the Facility Services Coordinator.
Experience in these types of duties will be an asset.
